Kitty Crutcher- Associate Attorney
Kitty Crutcher, the daughter of a retired First Sergeant, is a self-described “Army brat” whose upbringing provided her with a unique global perspective. Living abroad due to her father’s military assignments, she developed an exceptional ability to connect with and understand clients from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, a skill she effectively utilizes when navigating complex issues like custody schedules.
Background & Experience
Kitty’s path to law began in 1997 when she earned an associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Central Texas College. Her professor, a Bell County Judge, recognized her potential, handing her a letter of recommendation for law school and remarking that her natural leadership qualities would make her a better lawyer than a paralegal. As a single mother diligently raising two daughters, Kitty persevered, graduating from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in December 1999 with a Bachelor’s in Business.
She was then accepted into Thurgood Marshall School of Law, commencing her studies in August 2000. Kitty, her daughters, and her parents relocated to Katy, Texas, where she ultimately earned her law degree in 2003. By November of that year, she was licensed to practice law and began her career concentrating on family law.
For nearly 22 years, Kitty has primarily worked with small law firms, a choice that has allowed her to prioritize her clients’ needs without the demands often associated with larger firms. Outside of her dedicated advocacy, Kitty enjoys traveling with her husband, Greg, to whom she has been married for 22 years. They share her two daughters, Victoria and Jazlyn, and eight grandsons. When they’re not with family, Kitty and Greg can often be found exploring backroads on their motorcycle.
